Jr. Engineers examination but only 8852 candidates declared qualified in Civil engineering trade , and 2135 candidates declared qualified in electrical / mechanical engineering trade. Now all candidates who declared qualified in the written examination Jr. Paper 1, are required to appear in Paper 2 examination.
Commission yet not declared any specific date / exam time table regarding when paper 2 will be conducted for junior engineer posts but our credible sources are saying that most probably written examination will be held in the end of February month. Question paper pattern and Syllabus for the SSC junior Engineer JE Examination 2015 paper 2
Paper 2 of junior engineer posts will be conventional type. Paper 2 will carry 300 marks. Total 2 hours will be given for attempting the question paper. Pattern of JE posts will be as are follows
Paper-II Conventional Type
Part –A General Engineering (Civil & Structural) OR
Part – B General Engineering (Electrical) OR
Part-C General Engineering (Mechanical)
Maximum marks: 300
Time Duration: 2 Hours from 2 pm to 4 Pm
Paper-II for General Engineering, the candidate will be required to attempt only one part i.e. Part-A or Part-B or Part-C as per option given in the application form by the candidate.
Candidates are allowed to bring their own Slide–Rule, Non Programmable Calculator, Logarithm Tables and Steam Table for Paper-II only.
Paper-II (Conventional Type) will be evaluated in respect of only those candidates who qualify in Paper-I at the standard as decided/fixed by the Commission at its discretion
