Railway recruitment board RRB conducted of the biggest examination for the recruitment senior section Engineer SSE posts. All Railway recruitment Board RRB conducted the SSE examination on 21 December 2014 at various examination centers all over India. RRB Allahabad also conducted this examination of 21 December 2014 / RRB Allahabad conducted this examination for the 202 post. Approximately 45 thousands candidates appeared in this examination for 202 posts so competition is very difficult for each post of SSE vacancy of railway.
Senior section engineer written examination was held for following engineering discipline. Selection of the eligible candidates will be based on through the written examination. Selected candidates will be appointed in the pay scale of rs 9300-34800 , and grade pay of rs 4600 .

Total 90 questions was related to technical ability, general science required for senior section engineer post of various trade. Total 60 question was related to general awareness, arithmetic, general intelligence and reasoning subject.
RRB covered mostly all topic of the syllabus of the senior section engineer posts. question was related to Basic concepts of science (class XII standard); Civil; Mechanical; Electrical; Electronics; Computers; Environment & Pollution Control; Instrumentation & Measurement and Engineering Drawing / Graphics. Basic concepts of science (class X standard); Civil; Mechanical; Electrical; Electronics; Computers; Environment & Pollution Control; Instrumentation & Measurement and Engineering Drawing / Graphics.
Minus marking is applicable in this examination. For each wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted. Total 120 minutes was given for attempting the 150 questions.
Based on the performance of candidates in the written examination, candidates equal to the number of vacancies are called for document verification in the main list. In Addition, 30% extra candidates are also called as standby. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their passing requisite Medical Fitness
Test to be conducted by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and Community certificates and verification of antecedents/character of the candidates
Expected Cutoff marks for General UR - 80 to 88 Marks
Cutoff marks for OBC – 75 to 80 marks
SC – 65 to 72 marks
ST 55 to 60 marks
