KVS Clerk Exam Syllabus and Question Paper patter 2014 LDC, UDC

Recently Kendriya vidyalaya Sangathan published the official recruitment notification for the posts of 120 posts of Upper Division clerk UDC, and 464 posts of Lower Division Clerk posts. Selection of the eligible candidates for the posts of KVS LDC, UDC will be based on through the written examination followed by personal interview test. KVS will conduct a national level written examination for the posts of LDC and UDC. Typing Test will be also conducted for those candidates who will declare qualified in the written examination. The practical/computer proficiency test will be qualifying in nature. The candidates are required to qualify the Typing Test and must secure minimum 40% marks in the Skill Test. The marks of practical/computer proficiency test will not be added in final merit. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Written Examination (Part I & II).

A). WRITTEN EXAMINATION:
PART-I. (LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY TEST) 40 MARKS

PART – II (GENERAL AWARENESS & COMPUTER LITERACY) (60 MARKS)
1. General Knowledge (15)    2. Logical Reasoning (15)    3. Computer Literacy (15)
4. Quantitative Aptitude (15)

After that those candidates who will be declared qualified in the written examination they will be call for typing test, ad skill Test . Typing Test / Skill Test for KVS LDC posts will be as are follows
Practical Test will carry  50 marks
Typing Test Typing Test only on computer English
– 35 w.p.m, Hindi – 30 w.p.m.

Computer proficiency test will carry 100 marks
Skill Test Computer skill test MS-Word, MS Excel, MS- Access, MS- Power Point, and Internet.

In those last those candidates who will be declared qualified in the written examination they will be call for computer proficiency test . CPT will carry 100 marks. CPT/ Skill Test will include Test of  MS WORD, MS EXCEL, MS ACCESS, MS POWER POINT AND INTERNET
The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Part II & Part III   (30+110=140). There is no element of interview for the post of Upper Division Clerk.
