Question paper pattern and Syllabus for UPPSC Revenue Inspector Kanungo recruitment

Recently uttar pradesh public service commission UPPSC has published the official Notification advertisement no A-3/E-1/2014 Dated 16 September 2014 for the recruitment of 617 posts of Revenue Inspector (Rajsav nirikshak / Kanungo) posts. all interested candidates who completed there graduation and have age between 21 to 40 year as on 1 July 2014 they can fill application form online at the official website of UP PSC online. Last date of application form submission is 16 October 2014. Candidates can fill application form of Kanungo post via paying 115 rs application form fee online of E Challan. Selected candidates will be appointed in the pay scale of rs 5200-20200 and grade pay of rs 2800.

Selection of the eligible candidates will be based on though written examination and personal interview test. UPPSC will conduct a state level written examination for Kanungo posts. so its expected that more then 5 to 6 lakh candidates will be appeared in revenue inspector / rajsav nirikshak examination. Plan of Examination: The competitive examination comprises two successive stages viz –
(1) Objective Type Test
(2) Viva – Voce (Personality) Test

Subjects for the Objective Type Test
Paper 1 :  Part - I General Studies 100 Questions 100 Marks    
Part -II General Aptitude. 50 Questions 100 Marks
Total 200 Marks 02 Hours 9.30 A.M. to 11.30 A.M. }

Paper –2 Part -I General Hindi 100 Questions 100 Marks
Part -II General Maths 50 Questions 100 Marks
Total 200 Marks 02 Hours 2.30 P.M. to 4.30 P.M. }

Viva – Voce (Personality) Test :- (i). Personality Test will be of 50 marks. (ii) This test will relate to the matter of General Interest keeping in view of general awareness, intelligence, character, personality, expression power and general suitability for the  service.

Question paper Syllabus of UPPSC Revenue inspector examination / Kanungo exam
(1) First Paper – General Studies : The paper of General Studies will include questions on the following topics :-
1. General Science
2. Current Events of National and International Importance
3. History of India
4. Indian national Movement
5. Indian polity and Economy
6. World Geography and population.
Questions on General Science will cover general appreciation and understanding of Science, including matters of everyday observation and experience, as may be expected of a well educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific discipline. In History of India emphasis should be on broad understanding of economic, Social , Cultural and Political aspects of Indian History. In Indian national Movement, the candidates are expected to have a synoptic view of the nature and character of the Indian freedom movement, growth of nationalism and attainment of Independence. In Indian Polity and economy, questions will test knowledge of the candidate pertaining to Indian Polity including the Indian Constitution. Panchayati Raj and community Development, broad features of Indian economy and planning, In world geography and population,
only General understanding of the subjects will be expected with emphasis on physical / ecological, economic and socio-demographic aspects of Geography of India. Candidates are expected to have general awareness about the above topics with special reference to Uttar Pradesh.
