New Question pattern for Chhattisgarh Assistant Professor Online Exam 2014

Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission CGPSC published the official notification for the recruitment of 966 Posts for various categories for higher Education services. Last date of application form submission for CGPSC Assistant professor is 9 October 2014. all interested candidates who want to fill application form for the posts of assistant professor they can fill application form online through the official website of Chhattisgarh PSC.
Selection of the Assistant professor of Chhattisgarh will be strictly based on through the written exam followed by personal interview test. Over all selection process will be completed in two phases . in first phase first of all CGPSC will conduct the online written examination of 300 marks. After that those candidates who will declared qualified in the written examination online they will call for personal interview test. So over all final merit liss will be prepared on the basis of 330 marks.

Marks distribution 
Online examination – 300 marks
Interview test – 30 marks
Total : 330 marks

Online examination: assistant professor exam will be held online. CGPSC now provide facility to exercise online examination in Hindi and English language.

Question paper 1 :  General knowledge of Chhattisgarh – 50 question  - 100 marks
Part 2 : option subject  - 100 marks  - 200 marks
Total no marks  : 300 and total no of questions  - 150

Each questions will contain 5 answer and only one answer will be correct. For each correct marked answer by candidates, 2 marks will be awarded. Beware before the attempting the doubtful question because minus marking is applicable in this examination. fo for each incorrect answer 1 marks will be deducted.

Qualifying marks / Cutoff mark / : each candidates are required to score minimum qualifying marks for qualifying in the online examination. However final cutoff for preparing merit lists will be prepared on the basis of proposed no of vacancies.
Cutoff marks for the examination as are follows: 33% 
Cutoff marks for SC/ ST and OBC candidate – 25 %
