Chhattisgarh public service commission published the official notification advertisement no 11/2014/Exam/dated 05/09/2014 for the recruitment of 966 posts of assistant professor for various subjects. Official advertisement will be also published in local news paper of 10 September 2014/ all interested candidates who want to apply for CGPSC assistant professor vacancies they can apply online from the 10 September 2014. Candidates can fill application form till the last 9 October 2014.

Salary - selected candidates will be appointed in the pay scale of 15600 – 39100, and grade pay of rs 6000
Eligibility criteria: all PG posts graduate / master degree holder in concerned subject with at least 55% marks, they can fill application form for assistant professor poss. Only UGC NET exam qualified candidates can fill application form.
Age limit : minimum age 21 year and maximum age should be 32 year as on 1 January 2014.
Selection procedure; selection for the posts of assistant professor will be based on through the written examination followed by personal interview test.
Written exam will carry 300 marks and personal interview test will carry 30 marks.
Overall final merit lists will be prepared on 330 marks.
Online written exam will be objective type.
Question paper pattern will be as are follows
Total no of question: 150, total time duration “ 3 hours
Maximum marks: 300
Part 1 : general knowledge of Chhattisgarh = 50 question 100 marks
Optional subjects – 100 question s 200 marks
Total 150 question 300 marks.
Minus marking will be applicable in this examination. for each wrong answer 1 marks will be deduced.
Application form fee: rs 300 for and rs 400 for outsider of Chhattisgarh
