Selection of the eligible candidates for Haryana Public service Commission HPSC Civil judge Junior Division will be based on through the performance of the candidates in pre exam, mains exam and personal interview test. Recently HPSC published the official notification for the
recruitment of 119 posts of Civil judge Junior Division. Selected candidates will be appointed through the HCS judicial branch. HPSC HCS Preliminary and mains examination syllabus as are follows.

Selection procedure will be based on the performance of the following phases which will be conducted by HPSC for HCS Judicial branch 2014

HPSC HCS Preliminary Examination Question paper pattern and Syllabus
Pre exam of Haryana judicial service will be objective type nature. All questions of preliminary examination will be objective type with multiple choices.
Total two hours will be given for attempting the question paper.
Question paper will contain 125 objective type MCQ questions only. Each question will carry 4 marks.
Minus marking will be applicable in pre exam and for each wrong answer 1/5 marks will be deducted.
Question of the pre exam will be based on the syllabus of main exam of HPSC HCS 2014 .
Difficulty of the Question of Pre exam will be  general and basic   of the main subjects of
Main Examination.
The candidate shall be expected to have a general and basic over view of the main subjects and also the ability to answer questions on current events of national and international importance, Indian legal and constitutional history and governance. The candidate shall also be tested for his analytical skills and aptitude. The standard of the question paper shall be of Law graduate level.
Qualifying marks or passing marks for pre exam will be 150 marks , and for reserved category qualifying cutoff marks will be 100.
No marks of the pre exam will be added in final merit. Pre exam will be qualifying nature only.

Paper-1- Civil Law-1        200 marks
Paper-II- Civil Law-II        200 marks
Paper-III Criminal Law     200 marks
Paper-IV English        200 marks
Paper-V- Language        100 marks
Paper-VI- Viva-Voce        200 marks
