Heavy Water Board, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India published the official Notification ADVT NO HWB/2/2014, for the recruitment of various categories of the posts. Application form is invited online from the eligible candidates for appointment to the following posts in various heavy water plant located in various part of India.

Education qualification: Minimum 60% marks in SSC with Science and Math’s + ITI certificate in Fitter Trade / Higher Secondary.
Selection Procedure: selection of the eligible candidates will be based on through the written examination. Written exam will be objective type. Total two hours will be given for attempting the question paper. Minus marking will be applicable for both categories of the posts. Each correct answer will carry 1 (one) mark and each wrong answer will carry ½ negative marks
The Written Examination shall include :
For CAT-I: Questions pertaining to Psychometric/ Aptitude / General Knowledge/ day-to-day science / discipline of the candidate.
For CAT-II (10+2): Questions pertaining to Psychometric/ Aptitude / General Knowledge/ day-to-day science / Physics, Chemistry & Maths of 12 Std.
For CAT-II (10+ITI) : Questions pertaining to Psychometric/ Aptitude / General Knowledge/ day-to-day science / Science & Maths of 10th Std. + ITI.
Trade test is applicable to Category-II candidates with Educational Qualification of (10 + ITI).
Those candidates qualifying in the Written Examination/Trade Test, if applicable, shall be short-listed for Interview.
(Candidates applying for the above posts will be given an option to answer in English/Hindi at the time of Written Exam / Interview).
Salary : rs 9300 for category 1 and rs 6200 for category II trainee posts
CATEGORY I TRAINEES :
Scientific Assistant/C – Pay Band of ` 9300-34800 and Grade Pay of ` 4600 (PB-2). CATEGORY II TRAINEE :
Technician/B - Pay Band of ` 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of ` 2000 (PB-1).
GAT, TAT Technician Apprenticeship Training
Age limit : 18 to for category 25 and 18 to 22 for category 2 posts.
