For providing high quality of education in rural area, state government of uttar pradesh decide to open 193 model schools in 680 Block of different district/.this decision was taken by UP cabinet on 3 November 2014. in first phase total 193 model schools will be established. These model schools be open in economically backward block which are not so much advance in education filed. Government decided to open 193 model school for high quality educations. Government approves the approval of opening new schools . central government already given there approval to open these schools. Building construction of these model schools is already running on. Central government paying 75 % and state government will pay 25 % of expenditures of model schools.
For ensuring the high quality education, a state level society will conduct these schools. This society will be centralized and work just like Kendriya vidyalaya Sangathan KVS. All schools will be affiliated to CBSE central board of secondary education CBS. Class will be commencing from next year from class 6 to class 12th level. A facility of central schools will be available in these schools. These schools will be model schools for all schools of concerned Block.
Government also decided the managing authority of these schools. A state level society will govern all the decision of these schools. This society will be know as state model school Sangathan Up . this Sangathan will be autonomous. Chief minister will be chair man of this committee and minister of secondary education will be deputy chairman , chief secretary will be vice chairman and commissioner of model school Sangathan will be nominee secretary.
Commissioner of this Sangathan will be secondary / sectary of secondary education.
There will be a board of governors .
Teacher and Non Teaching will be appointed in these school in different cadres. All process of the recruitment of teacher and other rule be adopted from Central schools. Cadre of teacher will be also different in these schools.
