ONGC Technical Assistant Exam Date Syllabus Pattern 2014

Oil and natural Gas Corporation Limited, ONGC published the official recruitment Notification No  SS / KKL / 3 / 2014, for the recruitment of Technical Assistant Posts. There are total no of vacancies are 117 including various categories. Selected candidates will be appointed in  ONGC, KARAIKAL in the  Pay Scale  A2 level :: Rs. 12000 - Rs. 27000 . Selection of the eligible candidates for ONGC Technical assistant will be based on through physical stander test PST, physically Efficiency Test and Written examination Test. Physical Efficiency Test : Males
1. Running 800 Mtrs. within 4 minutes.
2. Lifting and carrying a person of approximately his own weight by the fireman lift method without any break to a distance of 100 Mtrs.
3. Climbing a fire service extension ladder of 34 feet (10.5 Mtrs.) fully extended in 2 minutes.
4. Testing of driving skills of Heavy Vehicle.

Physical Efficiency Test : Female
1. Running 800 Mtrs. within 6 minutes.
2. Lifting and carrying a person of approximately her own weight by the fireman lift method without any break to a distance of 75 Mtrs.
3. Climbing a fire service extension ladder of 27 feet (9 Mtrs.) fully extended in 2 minutes.
4. Testing of driving skills of Heavy Vehicle.

After those candidates who will be declared qualified in the PST / PET examination they will be call for Written Test. ONGC will conduct written test which will be objective type. Question paper will comprise following papers
A1 & W1 Level: Test Paper will be Trilingual (English, Hindi & Tamil).
(1) Concerned Discipline/Domain/Subject – 100 Marks,
(2) General Awareness – 20 Marks.

A2 Level Test Paper will be in English.
(1) Concerned Discipline/Domain/Subject – 80 Marks, (2) General Awareness – 40 Marks.

ONGC not published any specific syllabus for the written examination how ever difficulty of the question paper will be as per the essential qualification mentioned against each posts.
Minus marking or negative marking will not be applicable in this examination. so you are free to attempt all the question paper.
