The competitive examination comprises two successive stages viz:-

Paper - I General Studies 75 Questions 150 Marks 01 Hour 9.30A.M. to 10.30A.M.

Paper - II Main Subject 125 Questions 250 Marks 02 Hours 2.30 P.M. to 4.30 P.M.

(i) Personality Test will be of 50 marks.

(ii) This test will relate to the matter of General Interest keeping in view of general awareness, intelligence, character,

personality, expression power and general suitability for the service.

Syllabus

(1) First Paper - General Studies :

The paper of General Studies will include questions on the

following topics:-

1. General Science 2. Current Events of National and International Importance

3. History of India 4. Indian National Movement

5. Indian Polity and Economy 6.World Geography and Population.
