Ministry of water resource development and Ganga Rejuvenation, central water commission Varanasi , government of India published the official notification for the recruitment of various posts of of various category. These posts will be filled on temporary basis but likely to be continued. Initial posting shall be at sites located along the rivers in the Basin of Ganga and its tributaries in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. States (Transferable within working area of Hydrological observation Circle, Varanasi Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following Work-Charged posts

1) Name of post: OUT BOARD ENGINE DRIVER (BOATS WITH OB Engine OPERATED IN RIVERS) Post Code :OBED 6 posts
2) Name of post: ELECTRICIAN GRADE –II, Post Code :ELECTRN Total 2 posts
3) Name of post : MECHANIC GRADE-II, Post Code :MECH total 2 posts
4) Name of post: CARPENTER GRADE-II, Post Code :CARPTR  Total 1 posts
5) Name of post : SKILLED WORK ASSISTANT(Erstwhile known as KHALASI),Post Code :SWA Total  29 posts

Eligibility criteria:  age limit: minimum age should be 18 year and maximum age should be 30 years
Education qualification: matriculation or ITI

Selection procedure: selection of the eligible candidates will be based on though the written examination and personal interview test / trade test.
