Assistant Surgeon General MBBS - 2051 + 91 backlog posts – total 2142 posts
Assistant surgeon dental – 34 posts
Total no of posts: 2176
Eligibility criteria:
Education qualification:
MBBS degree for assistant surgeon general and BDS for assistant surgeon dental
age Limit no age limit for sc, st candidates , maximum 35 year as on 1 July 2015 for assistant surgeon general and 30 year for asst. surgeon dental
Salary; selected candidates will be appointed in the pay scale of 15600-39100 and grade pay of rs 5400
Selection procedure: though the under graduate level examination. Written examination of TN assistant surgeon post will be objective type. Question paper will contain 200 objective questions. Question paper will carry 100 marks. 30% minimum qualifying will be for sca / st and for other candidates it will be 35 marks. There will be no negative marks for the wrong answer. Stander of be in the stander of undergraduate level MBBS or BDS level as per the case. Written exam will be held at Chennai.
