Candidates will be intimated with exam date and exam center later by admit card. So all candidates are advised to do hard work for physical efficiency test as well as written examination. written exam for SI of Uttarakhand police will be objective type of the nature.
Written exam for SI will carry total 300 marks. written exam description as are follows
Subject and maximum marks
1. General Hindi of High school level – 100 marks
2. General knowledge and mental aptitude test - 200 marks
A. General intelligence test and reasoning ability test - 50 question , 50 marks
B. General awareness - 75 question , 75 marks
C. Mathematics of High school 75 question , 75 marks
Minus marking will be applicable for SI examination. for each wrong ¼ marks will be deducted. Candidates will be permitted to keep on question paper booklet after completing the written examination.

After declaring the written exam results each candidates will be call for medical test. Candidates are required to physically fit for SI posts. eyes should be 6/6 and 2nd eyes should not be more then 6/9.
