Union public service Commission published the official Notification for the most awaited Exam NDA NA II 2014. Official Advertisement of National
Defence academy and naval academy NA has been published in employment news of 21 to 27 June 2014. Interested candidates can fill online application form at the official website of UPSC ORA. Last date of application form submission is 21 July 2014.
F.No 7/2014-E.I(B) an examination will be conducted by UPSC on 28 September 2014 for the admission to the army , navy, and air force wings of the NDA for the 134th course ad for the 96th Indian naval academy course INAC commencing from 2 July 2015.
The selected candidates Joining Indian naval academy would undergo 4 year B.tech course and would be given and opportunity to Join executive and technical branch of the navy subject to availability of vacancies .
The approximate no of vacancies to be filled on the results of this examination will be as are follows
National Defence academy – 32 (208 for army , 42 for navy and 70 for Air Force )
Naval academy (10+ 2)
Cadet entry scheme: 55
Total 375 posts
Eligibility Criteria:
Age limit: only unmarried male candidates born not earliest then 2 January 1996 and not later than 11 July 1999 are eligible for NDA NA II 2014.
Education qualification:
For army wing of NDA : 12 th pass
For Air force and naval wing : intermediate pass or equivalent with Physics, and mathematic .
Selection procedure : UPSC will adopt two stage selection procedure for selecting the eligible candidate for NDA NA training. Two stage selection procedure will be based on psychological aptitude test and intelligence test has been introduced at selection center / air force selection board.
Written Exam question paper pattern : the subject of the written examination the time allowed an the maximum for allotted for each subjects will be as are follows
Mathematic - 300 marks
General ability Test GAT - 600 marks
SSB interview test – 900 marks

Application form fee : rs 100 , candidate have option to deposit application form fee via Challan form, Net Banking etc .
There are no application form fe for SC / ST candidates.
